BilgeAdamEvimiKur: Hybrid N-Tier E-Commerce Architecture with .NET 8.0 and C#
Modern e-commerce systems require strong architectural foundations to improve user experience, perform under high traffic, and provide a sustainable codebase. BilgeAdamEvimiKur is a comprehensive e-commerce solution built using the latest features of the .NET 8.0 ecosystem with a hybrid N-Tier architecture approach.
Figure 1: “BilgeAdamEvimiKur”; Hybrid N-Tier E-Commerce Project with .NET 8.0 and C#
The project adopts the classic N-tier architecture, which completely separates business logic from data access and the user interface, while also integrating modern software principles. Thanks to this structure, the modularity of the system has been increased and technical debt has been minimized.
Inter-Layer Communication
Presentation Layer: The layer where user interaction is managed, containing modern UI components.
Business Logic Layer (BLL): The center of business rules, validations, and operational processes.
Data Access Layer (DAL): The layer where database operations are abstracted via Entity Framework Core.
Common/Infrastructure: Helper classes, logging, and security configurations used throughout the project.
2. Technologies and Tools Used
The technology stack forming the foundation of the project has been selected in accordance with current standards:
Framework: .NET 8.0 (Highest performance and security standards)
Programming Language: C#
ORM: Entity Framework Core (Database management and Code-First approach)
Database: SQL Server (For relational data modeling)
Architectural Patterns: Repository Pattern, Unit of Work, Dependency Injection
3. Key Features and Functionality
BilgeAdamEvimiKur offers a wide set of features that meet user needs:
Cart Management: Dynamically managed product cart and stock control mechanisms.
Secure Payment Integration: End-to-end payment modules where order processes are managed.
User Management: Use of Identity Framework in authentication and authorization processes.
Category and Product Filtering: Optimized queries that allow users to quickly access the products they are looking for.
4. Software Development Standards
The principles applied in the project to ensure code quality and sustainability are as follows:
SOLID Principles: A flexible and extensible codebase where each layer takes on a single responsibility.
Dependency Injection (DI): Increasing testability by decoupling services.
Clean Code: Readable, understandable, and maintainable code standards.
Project Access and Development
The project is being developed as open source and is open to community contributions and technical reviews. You can access the project’s source code, up-to-date documentation, and installation steps via the link below:
The BilgeAdamEvimiKur project is a successful example, especially for developers interested in .NET technologies, showing how the N-tier architecture can be successfully applied in real-world scenarios. Incorporating modern development processes and best practices, this structure forms a solid foundation for professional e-commerce projects.
